Staying Loyal to Your Path

Wolf In the Mist, finding ourselves as we move through the unknown, one day at a time

Staying Loyal to Your Path without worldly distractions is Wolf’s message to us today. I haven’t painted wolf in a long time. Wolf has always meant inner wisdom, so it’s interesting that She has entered my art again these days. Several Spirit Animals have returned to me after many years away.

There are two parts to every creature. First is the one of the world, who has been with us since ancient times. For example, there is the actual wolf that I hope will be protected, that runs wild in packs across the land, and is big, strong, and clever.

Secondly, there’s the Spirit Animal, the great one who holds the power of every wolf that has ever existed. From the giant dire wolf of the ancients, to the grey wolf of the south, Spirit Wolf is the mystical symbol of inner power, knowing wisdom, and the personal voice of intuition.

When Shamans journey, they seek out the Spirit Teacher to help them heal. Often it’s the great Spirit of an animal, plant, or place. Each holds the memory of times long past, with the ability to heal in an energetic way. Once the inner vibrations shift away from the blockage and into flow, then the body responds and heals.

My Spirit Wolf reminds us that every day is filled with new possibilities. We begin by trusting our inner voice, the deep intuition that is telling us answers. Listening in quiet times, asking for direction, and paying attention to signs that appear is our best action.

Plus, ultimately, we must find our own answers, our personal truths within ourselves. Experts can have their say, but final decisions of how to live, and choices of how to act, have to come from our own knowing wisdom.

Staying Loyal to your Path means loving Your Shadow

Another key to wolf is being open to learning from our body. Instincts are constantly sending messages to the brain to heal and thrive. These impulses travel fast, and respond to the world instantly. Brain is slow to put it into words, so we must be aware of what our body is telling us throughout the day.

Wolf reminds us of the parts of us we don’t understand, the Shadow. Our less than perfect parts often become our best teachers. Pain is a warning to stop what you’re doing, and reevaluate the situation. Anxiety tells us something is wrong and we may need to step back from all happening around us.

Also, stress can show itself as bodily signals. Hair standing on end, goosebumps all over, an ache in the pit of your stomach are signs to pay attention. All are trying to heal us with their warnings, but we have to do something about them. We have to make changes.

So stay loyal to your path. Follow your heart in all you do. Choose the good feeling thing to do. And always make it as much fun as possible. More at www.awegroup.net
