Balance Dark & Light

Balance Dark & Light shows the truth of our lives filled with the tiniest bits of constantly moving particles. We are the stuff of the stars, and they are dancing together continually, creating our multi-dimensional universe. Filled with information, there is as much knowledge carried in the invisible (to our eyes) segments as there are in the visible. They need each other to grow, evolve, and move forward.

Dark Matter is full of information keeping all the galaxies together. There is no empty space in the Dark. It’s mysterious, unknown, yet filled with order like a net expanding over the Universe, with clusters of galaxies forming where the fibers intersect. The Dark always leads down secret paths, exploring the unknown, surprising us at every turn. It is where magic lives.

In addition, huge potentials exist for us if we follow the less beaten path, exploring our dark, our hidden possibilities, and trying new approaches to all life has to offer. Magic is always that which we have yet to understand.

For me, the unknown meant trying something new. Nothing ever changes if you keep doing the same old thing, so when new opportunities came my way, I never hesitated. I never felt fear about doing most things. Fear usually becomes excitement for me.

There’s nothing that hasn’t already been done by many others before me, so if they could do it, so can I. I moved forward with a determination of spirit. Recently I read that what most people see as fear, looks like an adventure to one with a lot of Sagittarius in them. I’m a ‘double’, ascendant and Sun. Then my third birth sign, the Moon, is an Aries. All fire signs! My dragon is my spirit animal.

That being said, the hardest thing for me was to be in water. The beach was always my great escape. But water was another element altogether! Learning to swim as an adult, and then attempting snorkeling several times, I was never ‘at home’ in deep water. But at least I tried it, so I do know what fear feels like.

Balance Dark & Light to bring yourself into balance!

So what is the Light?! The Light is all our inner wisdom waiting for us to tap into with Consciousness. We continually learn and grow. Plus, it’s information in our memories and communication. Light is the energy all around us that we can call upon with awareness. Consciously calling on energy, we can direct it to create what we need in the moment.

I use the light to fill my body, send healing to joints, and discover the next painting. As a result, pondering light and dark and what that means to me, created the above painting. Also, I love that it can be hung either way…raven up, or rabbit. Or even sideways! Rabbit is the white magic working every day in all I experience. In contrast, Raven is the mystery, the dark, the new discovery to be made, the new idea to follow, leading to surprising results. Raven leads me to new adventures. While Rabbit allows me to use all the information I have to make it an event. Both together move me forward in art and life.
