Heaven On Earth

Heaven On Earth is a personal frame of mind. For some it’s a place, like an old neighborhood, the beach, or a garden full of flowers. But, those aren’t always easy to access. Let’s shift our Heaven to a feeling, an experience using all our senses, that triggers a life full of love and peace. This we can take with us anywhere.

The above painting began vertically, with a pastel sketch of a golden crystalline city and a bough of greenery with red flowers flowing in. Then with my brushes in hand, I flipped it horizontally, and just started painting. The way to my intuitive self lately has been to use a brush in each hand, simultaneously, painting & blending from the top down. Also, One brush holds a light mix of colors, the other dark tones. I taught myself to paint ‘righty’ when I tore my left rotator cuff in the shoulder. I never know where I’m going, but I just work with what feels right.

So what is my Heaven on Earth showing me in this painting? There’s an unending vastness here, constantly shifting and evolving. Like the waters of the Sea, and winds of the Sky, Life is continually in transition. As am I, as I return from a 2 month life changing adventure of new experiences.

In addition, I seek balance like the Sun, on the coming Equinox pause in it’s journey. Yet, I feel I’m not the same person anymore. I’m aware of Becoming something new each day. So I stepped away from thinking. Instead, Trusting in my instincts and intuition, I created a very powerful painting.

Heaven on Earth is Taking the Easier Path.

My body is stronger and able to do many more activities than before. I’m a bit braver in just painting and adding details when they come to me. I don’t strictly follow schedules or daily routines as in the past. Instead, I allow myself time to see the magic, the Other World, beneath this one. I love my solitude and seek it often to listen for what comes next.

The easier path appears when I am in harmony and rhythm with the world around me. The right direction is clear. A deep knowing is there, as though my head and heart are in sync. I let go of control and trust my inner wisdom to open the best doors, bring the right people, and inspire a beautiful way to live. Plus, I’m always protected and safe since the choices are so obviously right for me at this time. My micro world ripples out to the macro world without challenges stopping me.

Once you see the easy path, there’s no going back. The struggle happens when you try to hold onto the way things were. Let them go, and bravely move forward into the bigger transition Life offers. Take the solo path, listen to your heart, and follow your feelings, to move in flow. Amazing opportunities will come your way, like magic.
