The Big Dream

The Big Dream

TheBigDreamTextThe Big Dream!

Two weeks before Christmas, my husband returned from a business trip, sick with a major head cold. By the Tuesday, one week before Christmas, I could feel it coming on, in spite of all my avoiding tactics. I couldn’t be sick for Christmas!

That night, I asked the Universe what to do. Wednesday morning, I clearly remembered The Big Dream in detail. I went into a cave I had known before. In the past, I followed the path on the right to another land of animals and Kachinas. This time, a tall blond Angel, right out of a holy card, put out an arm directing me to the left. This was an ancient healing cave of Aesculapius (had to look that one up!), with a healer holding a snake staff, directing me to lay down in a niche in the rock. I could feel the rough stones as I was covered with a blanket. I saw a snake come down and start to clear out any disease from my body, while a wolf came and laid on me for warmth. A golden glow was everywhere. For the next two days, whenever I rested in between wrapping, decorating, & writing out Christmas cards, I found myself back in the cave. I woke up Friday clear headed, able to breathe deeply!

Sat morning, my husband was mesmerized by a Christmas movie neither of us had seen before, ‘Lost Christmas’. We missed the very beginning, but it was about a stolen bracelet and all the people it touched. It was hypnotic! At the end, we finally saw the bracelet…a golden snake! The woman said it was Shiva, the destroyer, but also the builder of all new things. The old must be destroyed for the new to be birthed. Powerful for me on so many levels.

Here it is the Monday before Christmas, and I’m so grateful to be feeling great, seeing clearly, and looking forward to family arriving tomorrow for a week of celebration!! May the Magic of the Holidays, the Feast of Light, touch you on a deeply personal level!
