Balance Events in Equal Amounts

lucsFor Example, a Dentist at 11, MUST be followed by a French Bistro lunch!

For any anticipated event that dredges up deep-seated emotions, like the usual dental check-up/cleaning, plan ahead for the most wonderful drive through the woods leading to the most fabulous secret French Bistro possible!! Admittedly, easier to do in Ct than in Chicago suburbs, but you can find that forest preserve route to take. The point being, put yourself in nature, get out of traffic, then treat yourself to the best thing you can imagine. A wonderful cheese platter and omelet for lunch, on a Wed, priceless!! The trick is that the award must equal, or even better, surpass, the soul killing experience.

Growing up in Cicero, we had what was known far and wide as the Nazi Dentist. Little kids just wanted to be put out cold if possible. He tried root canals on poor little teeth that only needed a filling. Who needs a root canal at 10 yrs old???!!!

This works for anything you have any control over. Granted you can’t very well pull this off if you’re headed to the emergency room, but we’d treat ourselves to a great breakfast if we had to fast and give blood. Absolutely!! Head for the best cup of coffee in town, the fluffiest pancakes, the lightest omelet, to balance you physically, mentally, but especially, emotionally. Remember, Emotions are filled with memories, drama, and disturbing thoughts of pain. It’s very difficult to have any control over what you think! Thinking Mind takes over to lower your vibration to the pits. It’s like reliving the past all over again, and it’s a difficult drama to overcome. Replace it with good anticipation for wonderfully sensual tastes, surroundings, and ambiance. It’s the best way to shake off the downer side of ‘reality’. And don’t forget to smile! It lifts your spirits automatically!

All this I will be doing tomorrow! Wish me luck!
