Endless Summer

Endless Summer is a way to live. It’s very much a frame of mind that you can carry with you all through the year.

First of all, you must love summer, or whatever time of year you do truly love. Some love the shift into Autumn, with it mystery and magic. Others seem to love the cold with its brisk wind, snow for skiing and boarding, and stillness of the Earth. Spring is always a favorite with rebirth, return of songbirds, and buds everywhere. Whatever touches your heart, bring that into your life to carry you through the doldrums.

For me, summer was always freedom, choices, and lighter clothes. School and teaching ruled my life for many years. But, once I walked away from that, strangely not easy to leave such an organized way of life, I knew freedom like the first days of summer.

People would say, ‘What will you do now?’ But, when you realize that you are truly the Creator of your Life, every day becomes an adventure of discovery.

I think it’s a lot like retirement, which is a weird concept. One never retires from life! Each of us moves into new explorations, experiences, and choices. Not letting life just happen, or being told your next job/deadline/schedule, but instead consciously entering the Unknown, the Mysterium of all possibilities, opens new doors of perception, amazement, and fun. Then Life becomes your Creation of Magic and Wonder.

This is a time when fire meets water. The Sun mingles with the steamy vapors of water to create huge, powerful clouds filling our sky. So Endless Summer appeared.

Endless Summer is all about Consciousness.

Being aware of all you do, all your choices, changes everything. Quantum Physics tells us that in any experiment, the observer changes the outcome. If they look for a particle, they see a particle reacting. Look for a wave, that same particle shifts into being a wave, that can be measured. Things change because we consciously observe them. Life does the same thing.

We are no longer just spinning like a boat on the waters of emotion. Instead, we can row our way in the direction of our dreams. However, some try to row against the current, not wanting anything to change. But, it’s much easier to flow with the energies, make your mark, and enjoy the landscapes of new experiences, choices, and lifestyles. Time to Play Again!

Navigating the Unknown is for the brave of heart. We change as old ways are left behind, and new possibilities emerge.

Through it all, I carry my inner feelings of what I love with me. My Endless Summer is what I call my Island Life. It’s in my heart, my music, my food, dress, art, and approach to my evolving Life. Then, I Am truly the creator of all I see, feel, and know.

Doing is no longer a job, but an inner journey. What does the body need right now to feel good, energized, passionate, and motivated? That becomes the new Map of Life. So what is your Endless Summer calling you to do, feel, become? What makes you laugh today?
