Inner Healing is a day to day Art.

Most days are ‘Out of Sight, Out of Mind’. As long as everyone is alive and well, life goes on. But Memorial Day plus a Memorial Service for the sudden passing of the ex-husband, brings up all sorts of old dragons. Unexpected memories rise out of the deep, surprisingly still strong, and must be confronted in order to move forward. It really does bring a stop to the routine, a stuck kind of aspect, that screams to be examined. I’ve decided to immerse myself in the memories before my emotions make crazy things happen.

This blog is part of it. Writing out a new story that represents today, replaces some of the old….especially if I can laugh about the past, knowing I’m in a better place today because of those experiences. Being able to talk about the really ‘Old’ stories to my family gets them out, moves the energy, and shifts occur. All good things.

Laughing is huge! Being able to make someone’s day helps the healing take hold. I also immerse myself in music: sadhana, an ambient journey into Oneness, by Maneesh De Moor, does it for me. You don’t have to understand the past to loosen its hold on you. It happened, each of us lived our own personal reality, everyone has a different memory of the guy. There is no black and white, but so many shades of gray. I couldn’t have changed the outcome. There are really no regrets…no blame, no guilt…just a memory with emotion to be released. This was but one moment of time on our journey, without beginning or end. We emerge from the Universe, have some wild experiences, and then return. Life always goes on.
