Luna Bear teaches us how to navigate Moon cycles, tides of change, and the mysterious unknown. Her instincts are true. Plus, she senses shifts in the air, and lives by her feelings. In the Fall, she journeys high over the mountains, leaves the world behind, and enters her sanctuary, the magical cave of The Dreaming. She is Home again. Here she slows her body down, gathers her energy, and gestates new life.

I take this inner journey during the Great Pause of the Solstice. As the snow flurries out the window, I step away from the world and enter my sanctuary, my Home, to write, paint, and especially to evaluate where I am at this moment in life. In addition, as the Solstice moves closer, I mark the end of this year as a time to create my life with fresh eyes.

Moreover, Luna shows us how to adapt. Deep within, she births 2 cubs. They are vulnerable, sightless, and tiny creatures who nurse from her as she sleeps. She trusts her feelings, let’s go of her old life, and enters the dark unknown.

Furthermore, The Dreaming dark of mystery nourishes our wisps of inspiration, too. Remember, inspire means to breathe in our desires. Ritual opens our senses to nurture body, heart, and soul.

Therefore, we light the candle, burn the incense, hold our crystals, shake the rattles, move the body to favorite music, and eat the chocolate, using these powerful tools with intention, to go deeper into our inner work. Shamanic journeys, yoga, meditation, jounaling, as well as intuitive art, help us to listen, nurture, and honor our inner wisdom. Receiving answers and clarity becomes a Magical experience.

Luna Bear patiently nourishes her creations.

Like Luna, we must allow our creations to move forward in baby steps. Even when she leaves the den, she keeps her milk flowing by eating grass through the melting snow. Eventually at New Moon, the tides flow out revealing the vast sandy beach by the sea. Here, soft shell crabs sustain her through the summer.

Dreams need gentle care, too. Keep ideas private as you build a world for them to thrive. Follow the ebb and flow of your world to reveal your creations in strength and power, when they are ready. Be in mindfulness of your path. Choose what feels best.

A steady pace will lead us all to the ultimate feast of the salmon, when the Full Moon of Fall arrives. This inspired my Luna Bear painting above. Luna senses when the time is right. The cubs are ready to enter the larger world. This will be their first real meal. They are strong, ready, and powerful enough to thrive in the world.

As a result, so do our lives reveal a new, brilliant way of Being. Embracing change, inner wisdom, and energetic healing, we are ready to follow a new path of evolving, feeling, and learning. We eventually leave the cave of dreams, the invisible, and return to the world. But do so on your own terms. Always do what fills your soul.

Therefore, let Luna be your Spirit Guide to the Dreamtime. This is personal space. No longer the caretakers, or peace makers, allow your Self to discover what fills You with love, peace, purpose, and personal growth. Be the change you want to see, and truly live the life of your Dreams.

Enjoy seeing how I did a painting of All Hallows Eve.
