Ravens for Balance

Ravens for Balance

RavenBookText1CroppedMy Raven Messengers

Ravens, from guarding the Tower of London to bringing down the Light from the Sun for first fires, have been ancient messengers to all cultures. I knew I needed Ravens to balance my Owl. I thought Owl was to carry my message at night, Ravens by day. But Thurs was a blustery, stormy Full Moon Day, and this is what I created. Art with a focus is my visual diary of life in the moment!

The Hills by Lake Waramaug on the way to the pumpkin farm a few weeks ago came to mind, as well as my “Raven’s Daughter” image from a large painting I had done in my other life. We have 5 baby Ravens who are always here, usually quietly watching whatever I put out from chicken bones to cracked corn. Then they set up their baby Raven calls to gather together and feast.

Another great synchronicity affirmation came on Friday, as my husband and I were driving to a friend artist’s open studio celebration. This exact sky appeared! The great nearly Full Moon, with the moody wonderful Fall clouds flowing around it. I felt this energy go through my body! So cool! Love when this happens.
