Shaman Wisdom Raven

Shaman Wisdom Raven senses and trusts her inner wisdom for balance in the world. She knows things deeply. This reveals her place in the world, her relationship to others, and her path in life.

Like all good Shamans, she spends a lot of quiet time in the enchanted woods, or on the beach, or just in her own sanctuary nesting place, listening and sensing insights. Plus, the Natural World is her learning place. Plants, animals, wind, sun, moon, sea, all inform who she is becoming, and shapes her Presence in the World.

Following the Shaman Way, we begin by really getting deeper into our own tastes, scents, sounds, touch, and sights to be in the Now. Now is the moment of Power, say the Hawaiian shamans. Also, our senses open us to signs from the Other World. The invisible becomes visible to our inner eye, even if we don’t have words to explain the feeling.

Shamans use tools to help them get into the inner peace, contemplative mode of an altered dimension. This is tapping into something much larger than the limited world we see.

Like them, we can wear power jewelry of dragons or horses, ritual clothing of gold, turquoise and red, and use wands, incense, and dances to summon spirit. Drumming, rattles, singing bowls, and bells bring us into the cave of transformation. The ‘goal’ is that the Doing triggers the Feeling of an altered reality.

In addition, we can follow the Shaman Way and make medicine bundles or pouches. Focusing our attention on the aspect of each item we add to it, is where the power lies. A crystal for clarity, a stem of a special plant for growth, a grounding rock from the garden, gather our energy into substantial items and gives them meaning. Our thoughts Empower our lives.

Shaman Wisdom Raven opens the door to the Other World of Essence.

The Other World is always calling to us to enter the Gate, sit in the Enchanted Forest, and experience the Waters of Consciousness. Once you experience the goal of the altered state, it can never be forgotten. You see surprising things, have amazing adventures, and gain inspiration that the thinking mind would never discover. Answers come to you in visions, colors, and symbols. The life of Essence is always moving, changing, shifting into new realms to explore.

I enter this place of Magic and Wonder when I paint. Each work of art is the result of all that I’m doing, reading, dreaming, feeling, and experiencing, as I interpret my life in signs and metaphors. Therefore, each piece has meaning, power, and a story to tell. From the art comes the written word, where I again let intuition take over. The Word reveals another level of truth I hadn’t thought of before. This is my Shaman Ritual, as I wear my Shaman Earrings and Raven Pendant from Santa Fe.
