Full Moon Shifts My Now Time- Every One’s Now Is Personal & Different

Full Moon Shifts My Now Time, and it’s not Your Now. My Now is immersed in stillness, with misty mornings, hazy skies, and atmosphere as thick as water. My air smells pungent and woody. First of all, humidity runs high these dog days of summer. The windows are full of condensation, balancing the heat with the air conditioning. My body moves slowly through the thick atmosphere. I sense the forest holding its breath, as though pausing in the brilliant growth of life. Also, I see many small frogs appearing on the path at twilight, as I discover a bat hiding out in the deck umbrella, and I scare a very hairy spider industriously weaving her huge web from the table to the window outside my front door. Life is shifting in many subtle ways.

I’ve read that ‘now’ time is personal and different for each of us. As we learn more about Time and Space as measured by highly sensitive instruments, the more mysterious ‘time’ becomes. My Now takes into consideration I live on a ridge in softly rolling hills. Time up here runs faster than my friends time on the shore. Clocks go through more rotations, I have more time for thoughts, can do more things, and have aged a bit more than the beach people. At sea level, time moves slower, plants grow at a slower rate, and time is literally measured as running at a slower pace. Shore dwellers have more time to think, to age, to do things.  Furthermore, my cousins in the Rockies are speeding up even faster than I am.

Full Moon Shifts My Now Time as I gaze at its beautiful orange glory overhead while someone else’s ‘now’ sees it setting. ‘Now’ and ‘here’ are different for each of us. The pilot flying from place to place shows less time has elapsed on his watch than on clocks at the airport. He has aged less, too. I remember seeing a sci-fy movie of someone with a progressive disease, going to live on the space station until the faster moving doctors on Earth could come up with a cure. He was right. His stay for only 4 yrs in space would be equal to 10 years passing on Earth. So, What is ‘Now’? If you’re moving, your time will be different than my time staying still.

This is so hard for us to grasp since we are used to thinking of the flow of past, present, and unknown future, rolling on since the dawn of man. We ‘think’ my now is your now. But it’s not true. That’s where the World Clock seems so strange. One will say it’s 7 am tomorrow, another shows it’s 6 pm today. My ‘here’ is different than your ‘here’, wherever you are. Furthermore, slow Time keeps us grounded. Measured time runs differently in different places.

Therefore, as Full Moon Shifts My Now Time, maybe it’s time to see life in a different way. All events are momentary happenings in someone’s life, but all I can really experience are my own senses, feelings, pain, and joy in my expanded present. I see the fresh muddy huge paw prints of Bear on my driveway. A hummingbird hovers eye to eye with me. I laugh while speaking to my daughter on the phone. My present is what I’m doing in my ‘now’, a fleeting moment of time. And therefore, these personal, unique sense-sations are really the substance that create my ‘present’, my personal, different, unique, true life.
