Secret Kingdoms of the Soul
Secret Kingdoms are personal. We all have one whether we honor it or not. They are our World within, our escape and refuge from the World above. Furthermore, Secret Kingdoms are filled with colorful images, embellished memories, and dreams of magical places. Imagination lives here. Where would your Magic Wand take you right now? That’s the place to start. Past memories are so imperfect, but our minds keep expanding and detailing each inner place as time passes.
I close my eyes and I’m there. I’m no longer in the dentist chair, or waiting for the computer to boot up. My places are filled with power, peace, and emotion. This is the natural language of Spirit. So I love walking in wooded paths by the river. I seek treasures of times long gone. In addition, an arrowhead, bead, or pipe buried in the mud, is waiting for my discovery. A path leads me to a waterfall in a clearing, while a green lagoon emerges, surrounded by carved art stones. Owls appear, bears rumble through, foxes leap out of fires. Ravens talk. I’ve entered a safe sacred space on the inner landscape.
Secret Kingdoms are Magic
Each Secret Kingdom image is filled with stories. Stories teach me to successfully maneuver the world above. I just have to ask and listen. Images contain details, triggers, and clues to what I need to know at this time. Often I find answers come to me throughout the day after an Otherworld visit. I find balance, aha moments, and new insights. As a result, issues finally make sense, or I clearly see what to do. Plus, once I know my story, healing begins. I can tweak what I do, move blockages away, or change the ending and find shifts happen in the World above. Secret Kingdoms are Magic.
Therefore, your Personal Secret Kingdom is waiting for your attention. Also, seek the root of your personal balance, happiness, and fulfillment there. This is the land of Source, Cause, and Creation. Your Truest Self lives here. Another thought is to fill each image with sensory feelings of touch, scents, colors, and sounds. Explore your Individual inner map. What hidden beaches, paths, interactions and creatures await your focus? Especially relevant to remember is that everything you see there is a metaphor for your life. Most of all, forge your own fulfilled path and be the best version of yourself possible.
