Golden Sunset Revelation

Golden Sunset Revelation is the promise that all will be well. The Earth always manages to right herself in her own majestic way. And it works the same way with our human extremes of deepest depths of sorrow, magically shifting into golden light, beauty, and peace. Life is constantly in cycles of evolving balance.

As I was being tossed around in the wild train ride from hell, I switched my focus to taking photos of the amazing, changing landscape shooting past my window. Here the land became fast moving images of rivers, forests, and waters. I trusted my iphone to do its job.

Hazy skies suddenly shifted to a blazing forest of trees in the sunset. It took my breath away then, and still does today as I sift through the glorious picture diary of the journey. A miracle reveals itself. The Light of the Sun illuminates, informs, and guides the way on a new path, if we’re brave enough to stick with it.

First of all, all challenges that appear out of nowhere are a major opportunity to learn something new about yourself. Ignoring or denying any emotion or situation just makes you a victim to circumstance. There’s no power there. So it’s time to check your options. Like I did on the train, change your focus and discover ways to deal with the experience.

Secondly, being aware and conscious as you make your choices, changes everything. In mindfulness, you are grounded. This creates a deep learning and knowing. Everything happens for a reason.

Plus, help is always available, for everything from a grieving heart to a breach in your financials. But you have to make yourself heard. Therefore, take the step out of the dark cave of turmoil, and find the Light of wisdom.

Thirdly, I’ve heard lately that more than ever, this is a time of ‘undoing’. It’s time to simplify, get help, let go, and trust your inner guidance to open the right doors. I’m the kind who wants to ‘fix’ things Now! But it doesn’t work that way. Some things in the Universe become ‘right’ in their own good time.

Letting go of control, allowing the cycle to work its magic, and trusting, takes patience. This is my lesson to learn. So I practice ‘undoing’, not forcing, and instead make art, or at least photos of beauty.

The biggest answers are usually the ones that appear like magic. We are led to them. Forces of the Universe converse to create more than you could ever imagine.

Lastly, often the best direction is the subtle path. Like a deer path made from intuition and instinct, make a choice and see where it takes you. Being in Nature helps. Rejuvenate and allow possibilities to nourish your spirit. Find an easy path that may start as play. Give it energy and it will grow. It’s the secret way to live, thrive, and move through the chaos of the world.

In art and life, trust the blank canvas to take you to a new world. That’s what I did in my painting. First the turquoise sky, then the great reflecting waters appeared. The trees took a number of days. But it eventually came together as I remembered and captured the feeling of the golden sunset.
